 Etch depths from0.01mm To 0.5mm Must apply clear coat to bind etch aluminum product unless substrate is anodized, chromate conversion or irradiated etching.

Advantage:  Permanent identification Can be "Blind Etched" or paint filled (multiple colors are available).

Disadvantage:  Resist is applied with a screen printing process, making sequential serial numbers for I.D. tags non-cost effective.More expensive than conventional screen printing
